Roland Garros 2012 Draw
The draw for the second Grand Slam of the year at Roland Garros, Paris has been released and Maria is seeded second and will face world No.75 Alexandra Cadantu of Romania in the first round. Maria has never played the 22-year-old before.
The first seed Maria can meet is No.28 seed Shuai Peng of China in the third round.
This is Maria tenth appearance on the red clay in Roland Garros and her best ever result here was reaching the semis in 2007 and 2011.
